Mini-Lesson: Mapping for Ideas

In your writer's notebook, choose a place from your list and begin sketching the place with all the details you remember. It doesn't have to be the one you end up writing about; you just have to start somewhere as you search for inspiration! Use this to the bring details to your mind and jot down possible memories and stories. No one cares what your final sketch looks like, so concentrate on remembering!
